Mark has hope for the future because he found help at Lutheran Family Service.

Like many, Mark had been struggling with life's challenges. He's married and has an adorable little girl, with another child on the way. Mark recently lost his job and was battling depression. He lost his father to suicide and knew that he needed professional help to overcome his own thoughts of ending his life.

Learning of Lutheran Family Service from his pastor, Mark reached out for help. Since he didn't have insurance, he was able to use the sliding-scale fee that made counseling possible. What Mark discovered with the help of his Lutheran Family Service counselor was life-changing. He had a safe, confidential, and Christ-centered place to receive the support, tools and hope he needed. Now, Mark is on the journey to a healthier, happier life. Because of your support, Mark is not only alive and well, but hopeful for the future with his wife and children.

All mental health, marriage, family, and pregnancy counseling provided by Lutheran Family Service is made possible through the support of our partners: people who care about others and want to help them. No government dollars are sought or accepted so as not to limit our Christ-centered witness.
